Plans for reopening First Baptist Church on the 7th of June.
st Regular service time will be 10:45
nd We will ask that masks be worn as you enter the building and are seated for service. After being seated you are permitted to remove your mask. After the service is complete you are asked to put on your mask.
rd Seating will be arranged to provide social distancing during worship. Please sit in pews marked for seating. Please do not sit in pews not marked (even if it is your traditional seat) we plan to serve communion and take offering with deacons using the open pews so that we are not all passing the plates and touching the elements.
th We are asking that fellowship take place outside the building as per CDC recommendations. Inside the building please know we are so happy to see and be with you for worship but we must refrain from our normal hugs, handshakes, and fist bumps. A good wave of the hand will have to do for right now.
th We will be keeping all unnecessary areas of the church building closed off so that we may concentrate on cleaning used areas. Parents are asked to not allow children to roam the building unattended.
th The Action Kidz ,nursery, children's church, and R&R classes will not be starting up during the month of June, parents will need to care for and watch their own children. The Nursery room will be open for use by the parents for special needs. The R&R room will be open for extra space to use during the service by parents or individuals. We hope to provide a video feed to that room of the service on the large TV.
th We will continue our Sunday School Zoom class, but it will be at a new time, 7P.M. Sunday evening. First Teens will continue to have youth group on Zoom as well at 4 P.M.
th We will continue to stream our Sunday Sermon which can be found on our church’s web page.
